Kristie Oliver started her work as Executive Director of the Coalition in March 2009. She earned a B.A. degree from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from Drake Law School. She is licensed to practice law in both Iowa and Illinois. Early in her career, she counseled, interviewed and represented indigent clients in legal matters. As an assistant State's attorney, she prosecuted a multitude of cases including domestic violence and other matters where she was introduced to many child welfare related issues. |

Martha Munro started her work as Membership and Events Director of the Coalition in September 2009. Martha brings fifteen years of marketing and customer service experience to the Coalition. She earned her Sales and Marketing Degree from AIB with a Minor in Finance. Prior to joining the Coalition, Martha was an advertising consultant for Dex Yellow Pages. She has been involved with many church and civic organizations, including the auctions for Holy Trinity, St. Pius X, and Dowling Catholic High School. Martha has also worked with Reynolds Smith marketing as the food show coordinator. Martha jumped headlong into her first successful Coalition Conference and looks forward to coordinating many more. In addition, Martha maintains the Coalition's membership website, oversees membership recruiting and retention and produces promotional material. |

Sue Tew, LBSW, M.Ed joined the Coalition in July 2010 to contract as the Training Academy Consultant. Sue is president and owner of 2 Consulting, Inc. which is an independent organization that specializes in connecting, educating, and creating opportunities for youth and adults to explore their strengths. This includes educating and training people in the fields of youth development, foster care, leadership, service-learning and nature-based learning. Ms. Tew has over eighteen years experience working with at-risk youth in various settings including residential, day treatment, and after-school pograms. Ms. Tew is a Licensed Bachelor Social Worker and has her Masters in Education specializing in curriculum design and instruction. Ms. Tew has been involved in the fields of youth development, youth engagement, and foster care, and for the last ten years has been facilitating trainings advocating and educating people around these issues. Ms. Tew has been instrumental in developing and delivering trainings for adults that work with youth in foster care around the issues of transition and permanency. Ms. Tew has collaborated with various public and youth serving agencies across the state such as the Iowa Department of Human Services, Iowa Department of Education, Criminal Juvenile Justice Planning, University of Iowa, Iowa State University Extension, Des Moines Public Schools and Youth and Shelter Services. She maintaines ongoing coordinated efforts with many of them at both the policy and practice levels of advocacy and working with youth. |

Craig Williams joined the Coalition in June 2010 as an Executive Assistant. Craig is working towards his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Craig has a judicial reporting degree and his background includes preparing verbatim transcripts of World War II veterans' audio/video recording at the Iowa Gold Star Museum at Camp Dodge. Craig helps to enhance the Child Welfare Provider Training Academy and the Coalition's effectiveness and efficiency by providing information management support. Craig is also the Coalition's guru for Essential Learning and the two websites we maintain. |
