Mission
To influence and shape policy and practice for the betterment of Iowa children and families and the organizations that serve them.
Vision
We envision a true public/private partnership providing Iowa’s at-risk children and their families an array of fully funded, quality, outcome-based services.
Commitments
To fulfill its mission and work toward its vision for the future, the Coalition:

builds public and legislative support for addressing the needs of children and families so that adequate funding, policies, and consistent systems of care exist in Iowa.

is valued as an influential and credible leader in the field of child welfare in Iowa by the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government and by the media.

is valued by its membership because it provides timely and invaluable information about current trends and future developments affecting social and educative services so that members are responsive to change.

assists its membership in building capacity by providing learning opportunities regarding best practices, unfolding trends, and other critical business information.

advances policies that benefit children and families and practices that meet the needs of vulnerable children and their families, assisting member organizations in being advocates for these policies and architects of these practices.

brings together and builds consensus among its member organizations on critical issues.
