Supervision Workshop

Description:    A trauma responsive organization feels safe, connected, and empowering for everyone. An organization’s culture of care starts with the actions of its leaders. Trauma responsive cultures of care can be fostered when leaders are authentic and thoughtful about using supportive, empowering interactions with employees. Using these types of supportive interactions can:

  • Promote organizational climates that are safe, respectful, and inclusive
  • Help teams remain hopeful and energized in their work
  • Foster the value of continuous learning and professional development
  • Encourage your staff to model those same healthy, empowering relationships with the families and youth being served

This experiential workshop is designed for supervisors who are new to or would like to be refreshed in skills and actions related to employee engagement and coaching supervision. Using a team-based learning model participants will have opportunities to practice concepts related to transformative leadership and creating rational spaces that build capacity for safe, connected, and empowering work.
