This training will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and core features and characteristics. The training will provide education on common interventions, community resources and supports, and supports available to navigate access to community resources. The value and importance of collaboration among families, educators, therapists and healthcare professionals. Location Information: Zoom Trainer: Samantha Cermak, ChildServe-Samantha Cermak is the Director of Autism Services at ChildServe and oversees the clinical development of ChildServe’s ABA program. Samantha has been a BCBA and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Iowa for 13 years. She has practiced in homes, clinical, residential and school settings, primarily focusing on supporting children with autism diagnoses and their families. She has clinical interests in early interventions for toddlers and young children with autism, training systems, and family training. The Training Room will open at 9:50AM.
