Kristie Oliver, Executive Director 

Kristie Oliver, Executive Director 

Kristie Oliver has served as the Executive Director of the Coalition for Family & Children's Services in Iowa since March of 2009.  As Executive Director, she serves as the chief executive of the Coalition with administrative and executive responsibility for all the Coalition's affairs, activities, and programs.  Kristie has worked in the health care filed (senior living to child and family services) for much of her professional career.  As a licensed attorney, Kristie has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctorate from Drake University. 

Her professional career includes serving as government relations liaison, lobbyist and staff attorney with the Iowa Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (now Leading Age Iowa), Compliance Coordinator for Life Care Services and Assistant State's Attorney fro Rock Island County, IL.  

Kristie is a native Iowan who enjoys meeting new people, reading, the Iowa seasons, the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with family, especially her husband and two dogs.  

Martha Munro, Training Coordinator 

Martha Munro has been with the Coalition since September of 2009.  As the Training Coordinator she is responsible for and oversees professional development, including the Child Welfare Provider Training Academy grant.  As Training Coordinator she assists members to successfully meet the future of child and family services, expectations of the state and federal governments, continually improve the quality of care provided, and develop future leaders of the child and family system of care.

Martha brings over fifteen (15) years of marketing, event planning and customer service to the Coalition.  Her professional career includes advertising consultant, sales representative, even planning and hospitality.  Martha earned her degree in Sales and Marketing from AIB with a minor in Finance.  

Martha is a native Iowan who is very adaptable and enjoys meeting new people. She is involved with activities for Holy trinity, St. Pius X, and Dowling Catholic High School and enjoys spending time with family.    

Charles Hoffman-Zinnel, MBL

Charles Hoffman-Zinnel moved to Iowa from Green Bay, Wisconsin in 2004.  He studies business management at William Penn University and worked directly with children and adults at Lutheran Service in Iowa.  He has ten (10) years of experience working in the not-for-profit sector and currently adjuncts at Iowa Central Community College (online).  He previously taught part-time at Des Moines Area Community College and the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women.  

Charles has an undergraduate and graduate degree in Business and he is currently pursing his Ed.D. in Higher Education with an emphasis in Adult Learning. 

In his free time, Charles enjoys cycling, kayaking, exercising, watching documentaries, and spending time with his three dogs (Chole, Dylan, and Wyatt).
